Why Go?: This is a large multi-family sale where furniture, clothing, and more will be available for sale. Perfect to prepare for going back to school items especially for any new college students preparing for their first dorm room.

Why Go?: Alpharetta Recreation and Parks Department presents the 33rd Annual Old Solders Day Race. Sign up for the 5K or 10K race. On-site registration begins at 6 a.m. on race day. Event t-shirts are not guaranteed to race day registrants

Price: Race day fee is $20 per person.

Why Go?: This tradition will begin at city hall and will feature marching bands, military units, floats, clowns and classic cars. Free Varsity hot dogs, sodas and fun activities at the parade end at American Legion Post 201 on Wills Rd.

Come and enjoy Julie’s interactive concert with songs, sign language and musical storytelling.  Julie is a dynamic, energetic presenter and performer with over 20 years experience giving concerts for children and families.  Using storytelling, songs and movement, Julie encourages children’s active participation. She has released six award winning children’s recordings. Her most recent CD, “Fandagumbo”, won a Parent’s Choice Award.

Why Go: An outdoor summer concert series at Riverside Park on the first Saturday of the month presented by the Recreation, Parks, Historic & Cultural Affairs Department of the City of Roswell. Food is available for purchase at the concession stand or you may bring your own. Blankets and chairs are welcome and seating is on a first come, first served basis. In case of inclement weather, the concert will be cancelled.

Why Go?: Johns Creek residents will be able to satisfy their appetite for locally grown fruits and vegetables at the Johns Creek Farmers Market at Newtown Park. The market will be set up in the parking lot near the Community Garden and the adult activity center.
