Get Out: Things to Do This Weekend

Dogs will parade, movies will play in the great outdoors and the amphitheater will be swinging.

Why Go?: Chase will provide free Child Identification Kits that include all the tools parents and legal guardians need to preserve a complete record of their child. The kit includes a photo of the child, fingerprints, a physical description of the child and a DNA sample. If a child becomes missing, the critical information in the Child Identification Kit would be available for use by law enforcement agencies. Chase staff, with the assistance of the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office, will take photographs of the children and assist with fingerprinting. While attending, enjoy refreshments and entertainment for the kids, including a visit from the Forsyth County Fire Department.

Why Go?: Bring your sensitive documents to the Roswell Public Works facility, 1810 Hembree Road, until the truck is full, for free shredding. There is a limit of 5 boxes or 200 pounds of documents per vehicle. Roswell and non-Roswell residents are welcome to participate.

Why Go?: The PGA Championship, the Season's Final Major, celebrates its 93rd anniversary in 2011 with its third visit to the Atlanta Athletic Club in Johns Creek, GA. Thousands of golf fans lined the fairways during the 1981 and 2001 PGA Championships to view the strongest, all-professional international field in major championship golf. In August 2011, all eyes will be focused on the Atlanta Athletic Club once again as 156 of the best players in the world challenge the Highlands course to compete for the coveted Wanamaker Trophy.
