Verizon Wireless Amphitheater hosts the first big concert of the year on Saturday.

Why: Learn about the ancient art of rock stacking and make your own cairns in the Fairy Village. While at the CNC, build a fairy house or spruce up your existing house. Bring your imagination and they will supply the nature materials. All Ages  Pre-registration required.

Price: $10 Non-members/$5 Members (Adult helper required for participants 12 and under and is admitted free)

Why: Tree climbing is a lot of fun and great workout for the whole family. Climbers will be given instruction and guidance while climbing. All equipment will be provided.

Price: Tree Climbing: $30 for county residents, $35 for non-county residents

 

Where/When: Chattahoochee River Environmental Education Center, 8615 Barnwell Rd, Johns Creek, GA 30022, Tuesday April 5, 7 p.m.-9 p.m.

Why: Great for homeowners and school volunteers wanting to develop a butterfly garden. This program will be led by naturalist and National Parks Education Coordinator, Jerry Hightower and will cover all areas of selection of plants to provide the right environment for bees, butterflies and hummingbirds to thrive.
