Why Go: The Off Broadway Kids Musical Theatre Troupe help make it a Disney weekend.

3. PUBLIC SKATE AT THE COOLER

Where/When: The Cooler, 10800 Davis Dr, Alpharetta. Two-hour sessions: Saturday, 1 p.m., 3:15 p.m., 8:30 p.m.; Sunday, 2 p.m.

Why Go: What better time than winter to lace on the ice skates and take to the ice? (Prefer to roll rather than skate? Roller sessions start at 1 p.m. each day.)

4. TREASURES AND ARTIFACTS OF AUTREY MILL

Where/When: 9770 Autrey Mill Rd, Johns Creek. Saturday, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

Why Go: Go back in time and learn a little history as the Nature Preserve & Heritage Center exhibits treasures and artifacts from the general store, tenant house and farm museum collections.

5. OPENING THIS WEEKEND AT THE MOVIES

Where/When: United Artists North Point Market 8, 6500 North Point Pkwy., Alpharetta. Movies start as early as 1:45 p.m., and as late as 10:30 p.m.
