Blondie Brings Tour to Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre Friday Night

Pop icons who formed more than 30 years ago released new CD this month.

Blondie will perform in Alpharetta just a little more than a week after the release of "Panic of Girls" in the United States on CD and digital download.

The band will be in concert on Friday, Sept 23 at . Tickets are still available, some in prime seating areas.

The pop icons of the '70s were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2006. The face of the band has always been Debbie Harry, the lead vocalist. U.S. fans helped Blondie's "Heart of Glass" go platinum in 1978, with the album selling more than 20 million copies

For fans who are interested in the bonus tracks, other versions are available as imports, including the U.K. regular issue and Collector's Pack and the German Deluxe 2CD edition.

Blondie will perform with The Romantics (What I Like About You, Talking in Your Sleep) and Lexie Babin as opening acts. Doors open at the amphitheater at 7 p.m., with the concert starting at 8 p.m.
