Alpharetta Farmers Market, Arts StreetFest Coming April 13

The annual arts celebration and the year's first downtown farmers market are just a few weeks away.

Downtown Alpharetta will be the site for the year's first Alpharetta Farmers Market and an Arts StreetFest on April 13.

From 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m., visitors to downtown will find farmers with fruits and vegetables, gardeners with fresh flowers and plants and makers of all sorts of home goods, from desserts to local raw honey and homemade sauces and jellies.

This will be the start of the Alpharetta Farmers Market's season, which runs from April 13 through mid-October this year. The Farmers Market has to be moved from the parking lot beside City Hall, which has been closed for demolition and construction of property for the City Center project. The city was considering placing the Farmers Market on Old Canton Street, but check back with Alpharetta-Milton Patch and the city for confirmation before the 13th.
