Carly Silva, age 12
School: Northwestern Middle School
Accomplishment: Carly is the youngest member ever in the Alpharetta Historical Society. She is the only child member in the organization and enjoys dressing in period costumes at events for the community. She volunteers her time and helps to educate others locally about about Alpharetta's past. She is currently working on a children's book with her dad.

Key To Awesomeness: Carly really enjoys colonial history and has read every book she could find on the topic since she was 6 years old. She is very creative and theatrically artistic. She hopes to encourage more families to join the society. This motivates her to continue to volunteer her time with the Alpharetta Historical society and help with community events.
