Consider dressing your trick-or-treaters in layers under Halloween costumes this year as the forecast for Alpharetta and Milton will be nippy and windy, but clear skies expected.
The National Weather Service has dropped its wind advisory for the area, but wind gusts are expected to drop from 25 mph down to wind below 10 mph in the evening hours. Otherwise the weather looks good with clear skies. By 7 p.m. the temperature will drop to 50 degrees, and into the mid-40s at 9 p.m.
A zero percent chance of rain is predicted.
The sun is due to set Wednesday at 6:44 p.m., and the moon, which is scheduled to rise shortly after 7:18 p.m., will appear nearly full.
Trick-or-treating hours are generally set by individual communities in each city.
