A two day of visual arts will blanket downtown Alpharetta late next month as part of the 10th annual Alpharetta Art StreetFest.
The celebration will be held on Milton Avenue between Main Street and Canton-Roswell Street between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Saturday, April 26 and Sunday, April 27.
The festival, which has free admission, will offer those passionate about art the chance to stroll through the streets and take in a wide variety of art work, live music from local and regional acts, food and activities.
Mixed media, photography, pottery, jewelry, textiles, glass, wood, metal and paper art will all be represented during the two-day festival. A juried crew of local art professionals selected over 80 artists to appear in this year’s show, all from states such as Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Illinois, Michigan, and Maryland.
Also on hand will be a free upcycling art exploration area where residents can explore and express their own creativity.
Food from Smokejack: A Southern Grill, Z Pizza, The Bubble Tea Truck, Viet Nomies Gourmet Food Truck, Yum Yum Cupcakery, Scoop-ItzSpecialty Ice Creams and additional street fare such as fresh squeezed lemonade, roasted almonds, Italian Ice and kettle corn will also be able for residents to devour.
Along with free admission, residents can enjoy free parking at Alpharetta City Hall, Milton Center (the old Milton High School) and Alpharetta downtown parking lots.
