Senior Enriched Living Offers Shakespeare’s 'Problem Plays' Among Fall Classes

The organization is now registering for fall classes in Alpharetta and Roswell, which begin Sept. 18-20.

Senior Enriched Living is offering its new schedule of classes beginning Sept. 18-20. 

Courses this fall on Tuesday in Roswell include:

  • Fabulous Fifties
  • Lindbergh- Hero or Traitor?
  • From Teddy Roosevelt to Harry Truman

  • A Search for Civil Rights
  • Spirit of the Great American West
  • India: The Past, Present & Future

Intermediate and Advanced Bridge Classes, Watercolor Painting, Current Events and a Financial Workshop are just some of the additional options.

Instructors volunteer their time and generally have advanced degrees.

For the past 20 years, the quality of instruction and group participation has made SEL an outstanding intellectual and social experience. Each semester several hundred people interested in lifelong learning get together once or twice a week. A non-profit interfaith community organization, SEL classes are the ideal place for persons interested in discussing ideas, gaining knowledge and meeting new friends. Throughout the year, classes are held in various area churches.

Members call it “the best educational value around!”

SEL’s $40 quarterly membership fee entitles all adults to enroll in an eight-week schedule of interesting and varied course offerings. The membership fee includes all classes offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

This fall, Tuesday classes will be held at the , 95 Pratt Street in Roswell, while Thursday classes will be held at 535 Rucker Road in Alpharetta.

An $8 hot lunch, catered by in Roswell, is available on Thursdays. Full course descriptions and registration forms are available online or by calling 770-587-3750.
