Winning $600M Powerball Ticket Sold in Florida

Tickets Worth $1M in Match 5 Sold in Georgia, 16 Other States

UPDATE: If you didn't buy your Powerball ticket in Florida, then you aren't the winner of the $600 million jackpot. But check that ticket again, because if you had a "Match 5," you won $1 million.

To "Match 5," a lottery player needs to match all five numbers but not the Powerball.

Winning numbers on May 18 were: 10, 13, 14, 22, 52 & the Powerball was 11.

Powerball results were watched closely Wednesday when the jackpot was $363 million. After no one picked all six winning numbers, the new Powerball prize for the Saturday, May 18, drawing is now $600 million, which makes it the highest Powerball jackpot ever — and the second-highest U.S. lottery jackpot.

The one-time cash payout is estimated at $376.9 million. Tickets are $2 and the game is played in Georgia and 42 other states, including Florida, Texas, California and New York. You can buy tickets until 9 p.m. CST for the 9:59 p.m. drawing. Search for a local retailer.

Until Saturday, the largest Powerball jackpot was $587.5 million and was won on Nov. 28, 2012, in Arizona and Missouri.
