Learn What Life Used To Be Like in Alpharetta

The Alpharetta Historical Society's meeting next week will feature several native residents who will discuss how life used to be in the city.

The upcoming program for the Alpharetta Historical Society will focus on the old days in Alpharetta.

The program, which will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday Oct. 17 at Mansell House and Gardens, will feature native Alpharetta residents who will participate in a panel discussion on the city's past.

Those selected to participate are Norman Broadwell, Chestene Manning Carter, Nan Harman-Dempsey, Hazel Wallace Reese, Marjean Wood Birt, Gwen Dinsmore, Jim Spruell, and Connie Mashburn.

Lynn Sickler will moderate and ask questions that will give those on the panel a chance to detail what life used to be like in Alpharetta decades ago. 

These native residents will also share their favorite stories and take questions from society members.
