Historic Crabapple Fills with Antiques and Art on Saturday

Crossroads at Crabapple Antique and Art Festival runs from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on Oct. 1.

The Crossroads at Crabapple Antique and Art Festival will be held Saturday, Oct. 1 in the historic community, following a tradition of more than 40 years.

This one-day only outdoor festival features 50 antique dealers from 6 states and 50 local juried artists. Thousands of antiques old and new will sell quickly, organizes say, "so come early and stay all day for this old- fashioned festival." The festival opens at 9 a.m. and closes at 5 p.m.

Primarily 19thcentury American Country furniture, smalls, primitives, to vintage and shabby chic, and;
Unique pieces of art in all mediums (oils, photography, jewelry, textiles, birdhouses, glass blown ornaments, wood turnings, baskets/quilts/pottery.  

Rounding out the show are roaming musicians, food and children's activities from 2-4 p.m.

Walk to the show from the free parking lots or hop on the free trolley. Handicap parking is available.

The festival benefits the Boy and Girl Scouts, the Crabapple Community Association as well as other non-profit charities.
