Welcome/Introduction of Speakers (Gary D. George, Alpharetta Director of Public Safety), Mayor Arthur Letchas (City of Alpharetta, GA), Mayor Joe Lockwood (City of Milton, GA), Representative Lynne Riley (Georgia State Representative), Senator John Albers (Georgia State Senate).

Where/When: , 950 Forest St, Roswell, GA 30075, Friday – Saturday Sept. 9 - 10, 8 pm, Sunday September 11, 4:00 pm

Why Go?: Return to the days-gone-by of the American Wild West in this fresh new play by film and Broadway star Jeff Daniels. Thrown together by unfortunate circumstances, an ornery vagrant outlaw and a singing cowboy argue the virtues of mayhem, music, true love, and the meaning of life as they try to live by the cowboy code. This prairie showdown features original songs, as well as scoundrels, six-guns and a horse named Buttermilk.

Price: Tickets range from $19.50 to $33.

Why Go?: The City of Roswell invites you to join us for a very special event, Roswell Remembers 9/11, on Sept. 11, beginning at 8:30 a.m. at Roswell City Hall. The City in conjunction with the Roswell American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the Roswell Rotary Club will be hosting the event to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the United States.

Why Go?: Help Chattahoochee Nature Center honor our grandparents on Grandparents’ Day as we enjoy a good ol’ fashioned ice cream social.

Where/When:  , 3150 Old Alabama Rd, Johns Creek, GA 30022,  Sept. 10, 8:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.

Why Go?: The Johns Creek Farmer's Market offers locally grown fruits and vegetables, honey and homemade jellies, pastas and sauces, freshly made breads, and scores of other items to whet the palate. The Market is open from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and on Sept. 10 will be located on the field with the rest of the festival activities and vendors.

The Fall Family Festival, which kicks off at 10 a.m. and runs to 3 p.m., will feature many new attractions. Among the new activities will be multiple bounce houses, a Velcro-wall, a bungee run, and a radar gun to test pitching speed. The City will bring back old favorites, such as an inflatable slide, carnival games, a magician, face-painting, and finger painting. Autrey Mill Nature Preserve and Heritage Center will exhibit some of its animals.

Why Go?: This informative and highly interactive workshop is designed to get your questions answered! Allison B. Vrolijk, Esq. will outline parental rights under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) in easy-to-understand terms and share tips to navigate the Individualized Education Program (IEP) process.  The floor will remain open throughout the workshop for you to ask those pressing questions

Where/When: , 235 Castleberry Rd, Cumming, GA 30040, Sunday Sept. 11, 10-9 p.m.

Why Go?: The Forsyth Family Fest is an all day event at the Cumming Fairgrounds beginning with a community worship service at 10:00 am, an afternoon of free activities and give-aways for kids of all ages, concluding with a community patriotic extravaganza featuring the music of Riley Biederer, Chris Cauley, Steve Amerson and local high school bands, drumlines and choruses.  Top off with a fireworks display.
