The Atlanta Humane Society on Saturday held an open house at the site of its future animal shelter on Mansell Road in Alpharetta. The shelter will not officially open until later this year, but used the weekend's open house to announce the new facility to animal lovers in North Fulton county. The community day included live music, vendors and area rescue groups.
