Canine Cellmates Coming to Newtown Park

'Jailbreak Tour' gives the public the chance to meet dogs trained in inmate program.

The public will have a chance to meet the first graduating class of dogs from Fulton County's new Canine Cellmates program this Saturday at Newtown Park in Johns Creek.

The dogs have been trained by Fulton County jail inmates and volunteers in an effort to make the canines more adoptable and teach the inmates a new skill.

The "Jailbreak Tour" will give interested families a chance to meet the dogs who will be available for adoption after their graduation on Aug. 2.
