Alpha PAL Patrol 5K Set for Thursday

Registration for the Peachtree Road Race qualifier is $30.

The annual Alpha PAL Patrol 5K race takes place Oct. 10 in Alpharetta. 

The race, which is a Peachtree Road Race qualifier, the Police Athletic League (PAL) race begins in the parking lot of Jackson Healthcare, 2655 Northwinds Parkway and takes the runner through the heart of Alpharetta’s business district before returning to Jackson Healthcare.  

The race starts at 6:45p.m. Thursday Oct. 10. A Zumba dance fitness program will take place at 7 p.m. and the awards will be given out at 8 p.m.

For signing up and running, each participant will receive a vintage next level SS shirt along with pasta dinner with salad offered.

Registration is $30 on race day. Make entry fee payable and mail to: Alpharetta PAL, P.O. Box 598, Roswell, Ga. 30077.

All proceeds benefit the Alpharetta Police Athletic/Activities League (PAL), which is a 501c3 nonprofit community-based dedicated to providing an environment of “Leaders Building Leaders” for the youth of North Fulton County. 

Its goal is to engage police officers, firefighters, and community volunteers to teach and mentor the youth, establishing a bond of mutual respect, understanding and trust with the Alpharetta Department of Public Safety.
