1,300 Registered for Special Needs Event

That's a record, according to The Golden Soldiers.

An Acworth nonprofit this Saturday will hold a free carnival in Alpharetta for individuals with special needs and their families, and organizers are expecting record crowds.

About 1,300 people from 50 cities have already registered for The Golden Soldiers' 4th Annual BIG DAY OUT at North Point Community Church in Alpharetta. And registration is still open.

"This year’s registration number has already surpassed all previous years,"
said Lindsey Turner, the founder and president of The Golden Soldiers. "We are all very excited and thrilled to bring an unbelievable day of fun, resources, and entertainment to all the families attending."
