Suburbia Meets City on Windward Parkway

Suburbia meets city on Windward Parkway in Alpharetta, Georgia. Set among the serene North Fulton landscape, Windward features 3,200 acres of affluent neighborhoods, shops, and restaurants built around the area’s natural beauty.  Unlike most communities, Windward has integrated top companies like AT&T and HP into a high-end, but affordable residential area. Windward’s innovative design presents residents with the convenience of working, shopping, and living all within the same community. With over forty distinct neighborhoods, Windward offers a variety of styles and home values ranging from $200,000 to over $4,000,000.

Access: Windward Parkway is equipped with an abundance of shopping centers, restaurants, and amenities to keep you from driving all over town. With the North Point mall just minutes away and the Avalon scheduled to finish construction in late 2014, the shopping possibilities are endless. If you feel like skipping town for the day, Windward Parkway is located immediately off of Georgia 400 in Alpharetta, and sits only 26 miles from Downtown Atlanta. After a long day of shopping, residents can enjoy a day in the sun with access to all 195 acres of Lake Windward, or play a couple rounds at the renowned Golf Club of Georgia.

Attractions: Set on forty-five beautifully landscaped acres of Windward, The Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre was uniquely crafted to provide a unique setting for concert goers. Characterized by its distinctive fan shape, the amphitheatre is constructed from a translucent cloth like material and suspended steel frames. The amphitheatre’s innovative shape provides concert goers with the option of sitting inside the structure, or on the lawn among the native heritage trees, plants and flowers. Acts such as James Taylor, Jack Johnson, and Foreigner are scheduled to play this summer.
