Sophie is a sweet and beautiful cat looking for her home at Atlanta Humane Society's Alpharetta Campus.

This week we are spot lighting our little Sophie! Sophie is an affectionate feline almost two years old. She is mostly white with a few black and orange spots - the most noticeable one is black and completely covers her nose. This has earned her the nickname 'Owl Cat'. Sophie's favorite activities are being brushed and chasing laser pointers. She is a real climber and likes to be up high; you'll often see her perched on top the jungle gym in our cat visitation room. She seems to be afraid of other cats, and gets defensive. It would be best if she were the only cat (possibly only pet) in her home. Like all AHS residents, Sophie has been kept current on her shots and flea medication.
