Lela is a sweet small dog available at Atlanta Humane Society

Our Pet of the Week this week is Lela, four-legged proof that big things come in  small packages!  At two years old, this terrier mix is still full of spunk and spirit.  You can spot Lela by her yin-yang face - one half is black while the other half is white.  She'll probably be playing coy, curled up nice and neat on her bed, unless another dog has just walked by, then you'll probably hear her first.  Lela can sit pretty for a little while, but take her outside and watch how fast she can really go!  You can bet she'll still need a fair amount of exercise, but it doesn't need to be running, walking will do too.  Lela loves to greet people with a little dance on her hind legs, and some kisses to the face.  She can be a little yappy when in her cage, but in the same room with people she quiets down.
Lela needs an adult only home, with no children.  Teens and older kids may do fine, she just prefers the more mature crowd.  She would also need to be the only dog in the house.  Lela's obedience training has been paid for by Georgia Associated Realty.  Like all pets at AHS, she has been kept up to date on vaccinations, heartworm, and flea treatment.  She was previously altered.
