Alpharetta’s “Team ThyssenKrupp Remembers,” Helps Raise $11,000 for 9/11 Memorial

ThyssenKrupp Elevator employees joined 43 employee teams in 25 states and seven countries to raise money for the 9/11 Memorial Fund.

The walk represents our connection to the rebuilding of the One World Trade Center and Memorial in New York City. ThyssenKrupp Elevator believes that our commitment to the iconic project goes far beyond the equipment we provided.   ThyssenKrupp Elevator installed 73 elevators and 11 escalators in the One World Trade Center project and Memorial in New York City. The installation includes the fastest elevators in the Western Hemisphere.  We organized the event to coincide with the 9/11 Memorial 5K Run/Walk that was held in Manhattan on Sunday, April 27th.
