Alpharetta Scouts Post Flags on Graves of Veterans

Over a dozen Boy Scouts from Troop 69 of Alpharetta First United Methodist Church partnered with the City of Alpharetta and Historical Society to place American Flags on the Graves of Alpharetta's fallen veterans in commemoration of Memorial Day.

The Scouts of Troop 69 worked with Kim Dodson (Director, Alpharetta Special Events) and Ben Hollingsworth & Connie Mashburn of the Alpharetta Historical Society to identify and place flags on the graves of over 125 fallen veterans in the Alpharetta Cemetery on Saturday, May 24th.

A terrific way to commemorate Memorial Day and those Alpharettans who have given some much to defend the freedoms future generations enjoy.
