Alpharetta Mayor’s Challenge Block Party and 5K to Fill Downtown Alpharetta Streets
Alpharetta, Ga. – July 23, 2013 – The Annual Alpharetta Rotary Mayor’s Challenge presented by LexisNexis® Risk Solutions will include a 5K run and an awesome block party in the heart of Historic Downtown Alpharetta on August 17, 2013 from 6-11 p.m.
After the 5K race begins at 7:30 p.m. is when the real fun begins. Lawn chairs will line the streets as friends and families enjoy the live entertainment, Sponsors Expo and kid-friendly activities. Food trucks and other food vendors will also be set up for everyone to enjoy.

Early registration for the 5K is $25, regular registration is $30 after August 3 and race day registration is $35. Registration can be done in person at Big Peach Running Co. or online at www.mayorschallenge.com. All participants will receive a t-shirt and awards will be given to the male and female winners in the 10 year age brackets and to the top overall male/female.
