Scouts present $500 gift to Alpharetta Methodist

Boy Scout Troop 69 and Cub Scout Pack 459 presented a $500 gift to Alpharetta First United Methodist Church (AFUMC) June 26. Scoutmaster Doug Butler and Cubmaster Mike Siegel made the donation to AFUMC lay leader Dennis Chapman during a church council meeting. They expressed the Scouts’ appreciation for the spiritual support and meeting space that AFUMC provides.

Alpharetta Methodist has sponsored both Troop 69 and Pack 459 for decades. Every year, nearly 100 Cub Scouts and 200 Boy Scouts participate in scouting activities at the church.
