Keep Dry, Find a New Restaurant and a New Music Store and Head Outside for Good Food

Things you need to know today.

– Wet and Windy Day: Weather.gov (an actual working federal website, though all of them ought to open back up as soon as today) says showers are likely today, and even thunderstorms after 11 a.m. It's a 60 percent chance, but I'll be taking my umbrella with me.

– Music & Food Means Business: Two more businesses open up in Alpharetta today. Guitar Center Alpharetta and Zoës Kitchen, a Mediterranean fast-casual restaurant, have their openings today. Stop by Zoës for a meal, and then take the short drive to check out the guitars, music supplies and learn about lessons.

– Truckin' in Food: Alpharetta's Food Truck Alley has just two weeks left, and if the weather doesn't get too nasty, tonight should be a great time to skip making dinner and eat out – outdoors, that is.
