  event!&nbsp\;\nAmana Academy is honored to be hosting  its very own TED
  event  this Saturday from 1:00p.m. - 3:00p.m. TEDx was created in the s
 pirit of TED's mission\, "ideas worth  spreading." The program is design
 ed to give communities\, organizations  and individuals the opportunity 
 to stimulate dialogue through TED-like  experiences at the local level. 
 TEDxYouthDay is a series of TEDx events  that happen all around the worl
 d in late November\, around Universal  Children's Day. The events are de
 signed to empower and inspire young  people. The idea of hosting a TEDxY
 outhDay event at Amana Academy allows  students to showcase Expeditionar
 y Learning and how it aligns with the  Design Principles students are en
 couraged to live by. You and your  friends are invited to this event on 
 November 17\, 2012 from  1:00p.m.-3:00p.m. You can join in person or on-
