  and older about the dangers they face from strangers\,acquaintances and
  dating partners.\nGirls will learn how to be "street smart" by modifyin
 g their behavior to stay safer and recognizing dangeroussituations and p
 eople. The training class uses real-world video scenarios to illustrate 
 the proper way to respond to a threat.\nGirls will also learn and practi
 ce simple\, effective self-defense techniques that will allow them to in
 jure and escape a much larger\, stronger attacker.\nAll participants rec
 eive a take home safety resource packet\; and each family receives a cop
 y of the Just Yell Fire training video on DVD.\nMoms are welcome to atte
 nd this class with their daughters at no charge.
