This class introduces children to music in a fun and innovative way. It features captivating musical games, circle dances, passing games, puppets, musical instruments, poetry/rhymes, and children’s literature.
ºChildren will develop a sense of timing and coordination through solo and group instrument playing, passing games, and circle dances.
ºChildren will participate in solo singing games to improve the following skills: listening, pitch matching, and tone quality.
ºChildren will be rewarded with stickers and/or certificates during the class. Music is a wonderful outlet for children to express themselves and develop self-confidence.
ºChildren will be active music makers from the moment they arrive!
Dates: Thursdays (Weekly for 8 weeks) January 10—February 28, 2013

More About Bethwell Community Center
Bethwell Community Center is a local recreational facility which was built in the 1950s and renovated in 2011. Numerous activities and programs are offered at the 1,300-square-foot facility through the City of Milton Parks and Recreation Department. It features a 500-square-foot porch, a playground, seating for up to 55 people and everything needed for food preparation, including a refrigerator, microwave and sink. The facility is ADA compliant and is available for rental for all types of events. Rates vary based on residential and non-profit status.
