The April 21, 2012 business workshop entitled, “Emotional Intelligence (EI) for Entrepreneurs” was designed specifically to allow small to mid-size business owners the opportunity to understand the impact that emotions play on how co-workers interact or family members get along.  Emotions affect everything from completing everyday tasks, team dynamics, and mission/goal accomplishment.  Emotional Intelligence (EI) is recognized as more important than the traditional "IQ" benchmark.  EI is a teachable skill and is defined as the fluid, social ability that explains how an individual recognizes, understands, and manages emotions personally and with others.
