DESCRIPTION:As April is nationally known as distracted driving Awareness 
 month and emphasis has been placed on highlighting the dangers of drivin
 g while distracted\, we at PAL will be hosting a safe driving workshop.&
 nbsp\; The event will be held on the PAL premises on May 4\, 2012\, and 
 will consist of a simulated driving exercise in the parking lot which al
 lows parents and children to drive in golf karts with various simulation
 s to mimic common distractions real drivers face.&nbsp\; We will also ha
 ve local police officers speak about common traffic violations and mista
 kes drivers make while on the road that may put their lives in danger.&n
 bsp\; We hope you will come out to join us as we seek to educate young d
 rivers and their families in an effort to keep our roads and drivers saf

 Alpharetta PAL is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit youth organization that operate

 haretta PAL continues to offer a wide variety of programs for youth ages
  8 to 18 in living in North Fulton County. The goal of Alpharetta PAL is
  to provide an environment of &ldquo\;Leaders Building Leaders&rdquo\;\,
  utilizing community leaders to mentor and teach youth under the supervi
 sion of and in partnership with the Alpharetta Department of Public Safe
