The Roswell Summer Puppet Series offers nationally-renowned puppeteers bringing all varieties of puppets and marionettes to the stage for a collection of whimsical and captivating performances.

Shows begin June 4 and will run until July 21. Show times are Monday – Saturday at 10 a.m. with additional shows Wednesday and Friday at 1 p.m. Cost for children ages 2-12 is $5, $6 for adults. Puppet-making kits specifically tailored to each show are available for purchase for $4 per kit.

The line-up of shows includes:

  • June 4-9: “Rapunzel” presented by Paul Mesner Puppets
  • June 11-16: “Wiley & the Hairy Man” presented by Paul Mesner Puppets
  • June 18-23: “Sleeping Beauty” presented by Tanglewood Marionettes
  • June 25-30: “Arabian Adventure” presented by Tanglewood Marionettes
  • July 2-7: “Zany Zoo” presented by Lee Bryan AKA “That Puppet Guy”
  • July 9-14: “Rumplestiltzkin” presented by Frisch Marionettes
  • July 16-21: “Hansel & Gretel” presented by Frisch Marionettes

The Roswell Cultural Arts Center has provided the local community with a venue for performing and visual arts since 1991 when it first opened its doors. Located adjacent to the Roswell Municipal Complex and the Roswell Library, the Cultural Arts Center offers an array of productions and exhibits to residents and visitors throughout the year. 

In addition to the 600-seat auditorium, the center also houses the city's archives and research library as well as an exhibit hall and meeting and event space.
