One of the most common questions I’m asked is a simple four word question: “How is the real estate market?”
To answer, I pull out my graph (shown in video) to illustrate a realistic answer to this question. The yellow columns at the very bottom of the graph portray every price point. The longest day on the real estate market, if you’re priced well? That would be 30 days. In short, here’s the answer to that question: “The real estate market is hot.” People have the urge to buy, and your home could possibly sell inside a weekend, with the right price and agent on your side.
Our real estate team has been going forward full speed this season. Our list to sale price is above 96 percent, a good strong number, with most homes going at 98 percent if not a full 100 percent.

When it comes to staging: how should your house look? (Another common question we get.) You want to make sure that when your home is shown, you have the best chance of snagging a buyer in the real estate market.
Some essential tips in staging your home could be simpler than you think. For many buyers, the biggest thing is simply a clean atmosphere. Grimy bathroom walls or dirty tile floor will not show off the potential your home has. Make sure you scour those walls and polish the tile before your first buyer walks in. Other tips include a new coat of paint on dated tile or walls, updating old features, and doing small home repairs to fix that creaky door or cracked windowsill.
