Dallas Williams was chosen as the "Yes, I Can" Award winner from Alpharetta Elementary. The award recognizes students who have excelled in a particular category.  Williams has excelled in academics.

He is a fifth grader and has been in Tami Gordon's class for the past four years. His teacher said he has grown in many ways. Ms. Gordon has enjoyed watching him grow by leaps and bounds in the area of academics, specifically in Language Arts and Math. He has also made great strides in his communication and social skills.

"I have enjoyed watching Dallas grow into a wonderful young man and will miss him as he moves on to middle school at the end of the year. Dallas Williams has grown in so many areas that I could not think of anyone with more of a "yes I can" attitude than Dallas," Gordon said.
