Comcast Cares Day volunteers and area students gathered together after spending the day on maintenance projects for the Alpharetta High School community garden.

Projects included expanding, cleaning and beautifying about 2,000 square feet of land, as well as planting apple, pear and peach trees and a variety of fruit bushes.

More than 3,000 Comcast employees, family and friends volunteered across metro Atlanta on Saturday, April 21 for the 11th annual Comcast Cares Day.
