Sheriff's Office Identifies Worker Killed at Chicken Plant
The 37-year-old man was killed on Tuesday at the Pilgrim's Pride chicken plant in Canton.
The man who was killed in a Tuesday afternoon accident at the Pilgrim's Pride chicken plant has been identified by Cherokee County authorities.
The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office has named Christopher Chin, 37, of Canton, as the victim of the accident. The Sheriff's Office is still investigating the accident that killed Chin.
Lt. Jay Baker of the Sheriff's Office also said that OSHA had been notified of the accident.
