Vendors were happy with the weather and the turnout at the opening session of the Alpharetta Farmers Market in downtown Alpharetta.

The Farmers Market started a little later in the morning, but extended into the afternoon, calling a halt to sales at 2:30 p.m. Many of the customers–and more than a few of the Farmers Market vendors–could be seen checking out the Alpharetta Art Streetfest after the Farmers Market closed.

Starting next Saturday, April 21, the Farmers Market returns to its normal hours, from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. It is held in the parking lot beside Alpharetta City Hall. Parking can be found by Eagle gym off Haynes Bridge Road.
