Local restaurants offer specials for last-minute plans to ring in the New Year.

Vinny’s on Windward is featuring its annual New Year’s Eve menu featuring customer favorites. There will be a Champagne toast at midnight.

Westside Blues Band will be taking the stage at 9 p.m. New Year’s Eve at the Olde Blind Dog Irish Pub on Crabapple Road. The band will play until 1 a.m.

Enjoy $20 all-you-can-eat wings, sides, and soda buffet at Buffalo Wild Wings New Year’s Eve. Judd Shumway will be in concert from 9 p.m.-1 a.m. There will be a midnight Champagne toast included with the buffet.

Alpharetta-Milton readers can call for a ride and have their car driven home too, for a flat rate of $50. Pick up and drop off must be within the Alpharetta-Milton Patch. The Hilton Garden Inn is offering a Romance Package New Year’s Eve. Stay the night, enjoy a bottle of Champagne and wake to breakfast for two, all for $55.

Kozmo is offering an a la carte menu and wine pairing this New Year’s Eve. Brandon Justice will sing from 7 p.m.-10 p.m. A live DJ will cap off the evening from 10 p.m.-2 a.m. There will also be a Champagne toast at midnight.

Montana’s Bar and Grill is featuring an 8 ounce prime rib with a lobster tail and two sides for $11.95 this New Year’s Eve. Audio Safari will be performing from 9 p.m.-1 a.m. There will be a Champagne toast at midnight.

Even if you have not made reservations, there are plenty of places in Alpharetta and Milton to ring in the New Year.

Whether you are looking for a nice meal or to bring in the new year with a bang, you don't need to go far. Many restaurants are offering special prix fixed menus, while others offer an a la carte or a buffet.

The Champagne will flow freely in Alpharetta and Milton. Enjoy the revelry but be smart, before going out make sure you have a sober way home. There are plenty of taxis if you don't have a designated driver. North Atlanta's Courier Connection recently launched a Designated Driver service. This New Year's Eve, Alpharetta-Milton Patch readers can get a ride and have their car driven home for a flat rate of $50 (pick up and drop off within the Alpharetta-Milton area).
