Nick May and Jordan Sweat wanted to make an Alpharetta music video, and the result was "Here Kitty Kitty," a musical take on the Alpharetta Raiders-Chattahoochee Cougars football rivalry that comes together on the gridiron tonight.

Sweat, son of Keith Sweat of R&B fame, wanted to show his own voice with a video on the Chattahoochee rivarly.

"He approached me and said he wanted to make a music video for Alpharetta, and then he went out and got all of his friends," said May, an Alpharetta High senior.

Sweat got four of his friends to join in the vocals.

"I picked up two people who helped me film, and we went from there," May said.

It took two days to film, and another two days to edit.  Four main locations were used, including both high schools.

In a bit of irony, May used to be a "Cougar" himself, as he attended Chattahoochee his freshman year. That's where he discovered making videos and films is what he wants for his future. He took an engineering class and the video module the same year, and found engineering wasn't for him.

"Last year I filmed my first music video and got paid for it," May said.

Since then he's created his own small video company and has been creating music videos for hip hop arts and alternative artists around the area, including Y-Era and Retro Tha Kid.

This rivalry video has boosted his visibility as well. Parents have approached him to say how much they liked. Marist High School wants him to create a video for their rivalry with Chamblee. And Blessed Trinity parents called about filming for their baseball team.

A senior at Alpharetta High, May hopes to attend either Florida State or Southern Cal. Another option is to try to go straight from high school into professional video production, but he said most likely he'll go to college.
