Mayor Letchas Signs Agreement with Alpharetta Youth Baseball Association

Youth recreation and travel baseball programs at Wills and Webb Bridge parks have been combined with the signing of an agreement on Dec. 22.

Alpharetta Mayor Arthur Letchas, several Recreation Commission members and Bill Lusby, the president of Wills Park Youth Baseball Association, which merged with the Webb Bridge recreation program to become the Alpharetta Youth Baseball Association.

The merger had been negotiated by several commissioners, and was approved by the Recreation Commission and the City Council

Recreation Commisisoner Jim Cregge said the Wills Park program had great success, and now that success will grow to include Webb Bridge Park.

The program includes youth from ages 7 to 18.
