Welcome to our first Kitchen Confidential video report in Alpharetta-Milton Patch. With this feature we hope to let local chefs show you how they create one of their signature dishes.

In this video, take a visit to the kitchen at Alpine Bakery and Trattoria in Crabapple to watch Chef Edward DeTommaso make his White Wine Clam Sauce over Linguini. You'll get a step-by-step description of how to prepare this dish, and the ingredients that make it taste the way it does.

As his brother, General Manager Anthony DeTommaso says at the end of the video, the bakery came first as the owners started in a basement to serve the needs of restaurants and other commercial customers. It grew, and the restaurant was added later.

You'll find Alpine Bakery and Trattoria just next door to Crabapple's signature silos, in a shopping center that has been renovated and revitalized.
