The original American Idol performs tonight at Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in Alpharetta, and tickets remain available.
Kelly Clarkson & The Fray will be performing, with special guest Carolina Liar opening up the concert. The music starts earlier on weekdays, so plan on being in your seat for Carolina Liar at 7 p.m. The gates open at 6 p.m., and parking even earlier than that.
Lawn seats are $25 each, with prices running up to $99 for those much closer to the stage.
Both headline acts will be touring in support of their most recent albums (Kelly Clarkson – Stronger, and The Fray – Scars &Stories).
The concert season continues at Verizon, with the following concerts next on the August schedule:
Sunday, Aug. 12, Il Divo with Atlanta Symphony Orchestra
Sunday, Aug. 19, Honda Civic Tour: Linkin Park & Incubus with Mutemath
Thursday, Aug. 23, Sugarland with Dave Stewart & Canaan Smith
