Incubus & Linkin Park Conquer Alpharetta

Bands Mutemath, Incubus & Linkin Park Rock Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre at Encore Park.

Last night's showers had no effect in dampening the spirits of the near capacity crowd that came to experience Linkin Park and Incubus at .

The venue was about half full when New Orleans' own Mutemath opened the evening. By the time Incubus started, the rain had stopped, the crowd filled in and the rock n roll was kickin'. Incubus played a solid hour and half set. This was Incubus' second time at Verizon Wireless Encore Park.

Linkin Park hit the stage around 9:20 p.m. to a dazzling display of lights, sound and angry lyrics. If you want high energy in your concert experience, you need to check out Linkin Park. Front men Mike Shinoda and Chester Bennington never stop moving or engaging the crowd. Although many of Linkin Park's songs are loud and raucous, their big hits such as "Numb" and "In The End" are rap ballads.Β  I highly recommend this band if you like being blown away.
