The Atlanta Humane Society opened it newest campus in Alpharetta on Saturday.
The 32,000 square foot facility is located on seven acres just off of Mansell Road. The campus contains a 1,600 square foot clinic, four 1/4 acre enclosed free runs, 64 dog kennels, 32 puppie suites, 72 cat/kitten condos, and four free roam rooms for cats. In total, the facility can handle between 64-138 dogs and 104-176 cats.
Local mayors Jere Wood of Roswell, Arthur Letchas of Alpharetta, mayor-elect David Belle Isle of Alpharetta, and Joe Lockwood of Milton. as well as State Sen. John ALbers and U.S. Rep. Tom Price attended the grand opening.
