Why Go: Bring your significant other for a date night while learning how to prepare some fun, romantic, exotic dishes. Of course, time will be spent enjoying the foods also. Go home with recipes and ideas on how to work together in the kitchen.

Drumline & Color Guard Exhibition at Milton High School

Where/When: Milton High School, 13025 Birmingham Hwy, Alpharetta, GA 30004, Friday March 25, 7 p.m.

 Why Go: Milton High School Indoor Drumline competes on the drumline circuit at a World Class level. Competitions this winter season have and will take them around Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee and Ohio as they compete with other World Class drumlines. The Drumline and the Winter Guard will have their one and only home performance at Milton High School this night.

 Price: $5: Includes Dessert Bar & All 3 Performances

The Greg Whitaker Memorial Golf Tournament

Where/When: St. Ives Country Club, 1 St. Ives Country Club Dr, Johns Creek, GA 30097, Mon March 28, 8am – 5:30 pm

Why Go: Corporal Greg Whitaker, a member of the Johns Creek Police Department, passed away suddenly March 2 following a short illness. His buddies at the JCPD and the JCFD, with generous help from the St. Ives Country Club, have organized a golf tournament "Guns and Hoses" to assist his family with unforeseen medical and living costs. The reception following this event will include: Live Entertainment, Silent Auction, Raffle, Dinner and Cash Bar.

Price: Entry Fee $125; Reception Only $50

Wine Tasting Benefit for PALs

Where/When: Tinder Box-Vino 100, 131 S Main St, Alpharetta, GA 30009, Sat March 26, 4:30–6:30 pm

Why Go: It's a Wine Tasting to benefit Angels Among Us Pet Rescue, and the pets they rescue and take care of, while helping to find their forever homes. Come out and sample a variety of red and white wines, enjoy light hors d'oeuvres and live entertainment, and Vino 100 will donate 50 percent of the proceeds to the Angels.

The Cumming Playhouse Presents "Laura Monk and High Cotton"

Where/When: Cumming Playhouse, 101 School St., Cumming, GA 30040, Friday  March 26, 8 p.m.

Why Go: Enjoy the music of Laura Monk and High Cotton whose musical experience ranges from Pop, Jazz, Celtic, Rock and Country.
