Frugal Family: Shopping And Eating Out For Less

Here are 5 great deals for the week ahead that your family is sure to enjoy.

 

Food and shopping are always on the list for the weekend with the family. Get out and enjoy this summer weather with an evening stroll of tasty treats, patio dining at a Mexican restaurant or an ice cold drink at Starbucks all at discounted prices, of course. Whatever you choose, have a great weekend and spend wisely. 

1. Starbucks

Deal: head on over to Starbucks between 3p.m. and 5 p.m. and get a Frappuccino half price. This is in honor of their new flavors, but the deal is valid on all of them. 

Good Through: This offer expires on May 15.

2. El Porton

Deal: Go through Double Talk Deal and shoppers can buy $30 worth of food at the restaurant for $15. This is valid on food, not alcohol, and the certificate is valid the day after it is purchased and  must be used by May 17, 2012. 

Good Through: The offer to purchase the discounted certificate is valid until Tuesday, May 17, 2011. 

3. Old Navy

Deal: If you "like" Old Navy on  Facebook they will give you a 30 percent off coupon to use at the store. 

Good Through: May 12, 2011

4. Free Class About Bugs In Your Garden

Deal: Attends this free class all about bugs at 11 a.m. at Wills Park. You will learn about the good bugs and the bad bugs in your garden and what to do about them both. For more information, visit here. 

Good Through: This is a one day event on Saturday. 

5. Taste of Alpharetta

Deal: Come to Wills Park for this tasty evening where local eateries will offerfood samples for 50 cents to $3 each. stroll along and find new favorites without having to order a meal. This is a free event. For more information, see this website.
