Frugal Family: Free Holiday Events For Your Family To Enjoy

Here are 5 great deals for you to enjoy during the week ahead.

 

The weather will be cool and clear this weekend. It will be a perfect one to get out and enjoy the holiday season with your family. Patch has come up with 5 great deals and activities for your family to enjoy that are either free or almost free. Quality time spent as a family does not have to be expensive. Here is what we have found for you.

1. Pictures With The Santa Cow

Deal: Come to Chik fil A at 4285 State Bridge Road on Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and get your picture taken for free with one of the cows dressed as Santa.

Good Through: This is a one-day event that will happen each Saturday until Christmas. 

2. Secret Santa Shop For Kids

Deal: Kids up through fifth grade can come to Alpharetta First United Methodist Church and buy presents for their family members. Everything is $1 and the gifts will all be wrapped for the children to bring home as well. the event is free.

Good Through: This is a one-day event.

3. Pet Photos With Santa Paws

Deal: Bring your pet and your camera to the Waggy World Dog Park at 175 Roswell Street and have your pet's picture taken with Santa Paws. The event is Saturday at noon. Each pet will get a picture for free and pet owners are invited to take more pictures with their own camera as well. The event is hosted by the Alpharetta Recreation And Parks department.

Good Through: This is a one-day event.

4. Donuts With Santa

Deal: The Alpharetta Fire Station at 3070 Market Place Blvd invites you to join them for crafts, activities and donuts with Santa on Saturday from 9 a.m. until 12 noon. The event is $5. For more information, email the Windward Women's Club. 

5. Breakfast With Mr. and Mrs. Claus

Deal: Children under the age of 10 can come to the Alpharetta Adult Activity Center at North Park on Saturday at 9 a.m. to eat with Santa and Mrs. Claus. The event is free but participants are encouraged to bring a new unwrapped gift for charity.

Good Through: This is a one-day event.

There are plenty of free and almost free activities for the weekend to enjoy with your family. Whatever you decide to do, be sure to check for deals before you leave home.
