Festival, Shenanigans in Alpharetta Closing Milton Avenue on Saturday
The Scarecrow Festival, Brew Moon Fest and other events will keep a section of the road near Main Street closed all day on Oct. 1.
Start plotting a new route for Saturday if you planned to drive down Milton Avenue near Main Street, as a section of that road will be closed all day on Oct. 1.
Four events in downtown Alpharetta have the street closed from Main Street west to the intersection of Roswell Street/Canton Street from 5 a.m. Saturday to 3 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 2, according to the Downtown Alpharetta Trade Association (DATA).
6th Annual Scarecrow Harvest: 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Alpharetta is hosting a thank you to all the elementary students and community for creating scarecrows.
Alpharetta Farmers Market: 8 a.m.-2 p.m. DATA will host the weekly farmers market on Milton Avenue. This week the farmers market will run for longer hours.
Future Farmers of America Log Cabin: 10 -11 a.m. until 2-3 p.m. The Alpharetta Historical Society will have the log cabin open for tours along with free activities on the grounds.
Alpharetta Brew Moon Fest: 6:30 p.m.-11 p.m..The Downtown Alpharetta Trade Association presents the first Alpharetta Brew Moon Fest street dance, brew & shenanigans.
For all events, free parking is available at Milton Center, City Hall, PAL parking and downtown parking lot off Old Roswell Street.
