This is very sad, but proves you shouldn't give a kid a sports car. They are too stupid to realize they cannot drive fast cars above the speed limit. I bet the driver's dad regrets giving his son "the car of his dreams".

There hasn't been a day since the accident that I haven't thought of these young men and the now the tragic loss to their families and the community. Hopefully Harshvardhan recovers and can use his story to save the lives of others.

Sorry say this but the parents brought this on themselves. These are the consequences of their decision to give a teenager a race car.

I do think some of the comments on the parents are cruel - I'm sure the parents have been blaming themselves since the moment of the accident. However, this is a lesson for affluent parents: STOP giving immature kids - by that I mean anyone under 25 or so - expensive sports cars. I've seen this several times in the past few years - 16 yr olds given BMWs, Corvettes, etc. Sadly, there are 30 year olds too immature for a powerful car, but to give one to a teenage or college-age boy is just a lethal mixture. They're just not mature enough to handle that much power under the hood. Spoil your kids some other way please - these stories are so tragic.
