Christopher Walker Visitation, Funeral Services Sunday and Monday
The 19-year-old Milton resident was a full-time student and an employee of Sears.
Christopher Gregory Walker
May 26th, 1993 - March 12th, 2013
Christopher Gregory Walker was a remarkable young man. While senseless violence took him away from the ones who loved him they will remember him for the many hats that he wore.
As a faith and family oriented man, Chris understood the importance of the people around him and the role of God in his life.
As a full-time student Chris understood the importance of education, and was still able to balance a very successful job at Sears.
As a human being, he had a profound understanding of the world around him and he was able to smile in spite of it. This wonderful smile complimented his sense of humor and bright demeanor.
His true passion was music, and he always took time to nourish that passion. In a musical field filled with negative, Chris stood out as a message of positive. His lyrics were from the heart. He was a man with class who connected with all he came in contact with. He will be remembered fondly.
At 19, Chris leaves behind a brother, Ben; a father and mother (Mary Jo and Gregory) along with many more friends and family, whom he touched so deeply.
Visitation will be at Northside Chapel, 12050 Crabapple Rd., Roswell, GA 30075, Sunday, March 17, 2013 from 7-9 p.m.
Funeral Mass at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 535 Rucker Rd., Alpharetta, GA 30004 on Monday, March 18, 2013 at 10 a.m.

"Truth forever on the scaffold, Wrong forever on the throne,
Yet that scaffold sways the future, and, behind the dim unknown,
Standeth God within the shadow, keeping watch above his own."
This really breaks my heart. I did not know this wonderful young man and I really wish I did. He had a bright future ahead and his live was taken in a senseless act of violence. My prayers to his parents and brother. It's hard to understand why these things happen, but you must know that God is in control and evil cannot shake our faith.

I can't begin to imagine the hurt of his family, especially his parents. He sounds like a wonderful young man, and many wil miss the opportunity of having to meet and be touched by this child of God. May you rest in peace, may your family find comfort and strength, and I pray the attackers be apprehended and dealt the swift arm of justice.

Mary Jo and Gregory and all Christopher's family and friends, my heart goes out to you!!! I didn't know Christopher but everything I have read about him and seeing his contagious smile grabs my heart! I know there are no words to take away the pain you are feeling but just know how many people have you in their hearts and prayers. I am an Avensong resident and I so wish I could have been there to help!!!! As Andy W said it, I also pray the attackers are apprehended QUICKLY and brought to justice! I believe in heaven and I know that my family and friends who are there are welcoming Christopher with a lot of love!
